April Chor, from Gattschina in St Petersburg, move to this Russian folk music. Elena Voronec conducted this rehearsal but she seemed to do so almost in committee with Marina Kaplan, the choir director, and Elena Smirnova, the accompanist. They each seemed to feel responsibility for the performance and displaced each other addressing the girls seamlessly. [watch video]
